The people behind hidden talent recruitment wanted to create a new website which allowed newly qualified students to find better placements in salons. They felt that the market didn’t cater well enough for newly qualified students straight out of training who didn’t have a clear direction and who didn’t already have something lined up within a salon they already knew.
The objective of the site was simple in that it was free for a student to subscribe to and use it. All they need to do is to register and provide details about their job search.
With in the site, they have access to exclusive content and training advice in the form of articles and videos from some of the biggest names in the industry giving them advice and tips and career choices and what to look out for and what employers are looking for in their trainees.
Further functionality to include in the site were a live jobs board, again which was exclusive to members which provided job opportunities across the world for members and which students could be coached and helped to apply for through the concierge service.
There are plans to have a CV builder which builds out a resume for members which can be accessed free of charge and can be used for other job applications outside of the platform as well.
The platform is used daily by hundreds of students who use it to search for jobs and get specialist access to experts in the beauty marketing who can provide specific advice with their job search.
